Based on the “Amended and Restated Declaration — Countryhouse Service Group V” filed in Chatham County, NC on November 24, 2021

The cap on the number of units in Countryhouse Service Group V that may be rented by owners is 30 of the 201 units (#301-503). All owners who were renting their units as of November 24, 2021, may continue to rent that unit as long as they own it. Upon sale or transfer of the unit, new owners must obtain permission from the Board if they would like to continue to rent the unit. That permission will be dependent on the number of units currently rented and the number of requests to rent property that are outstanding (the Association will maintain a list of requests).

The Association has and will maintain a list of all properties being rented. Any unit that was not rented as of November 24, 2021, may not be rented without formal permission from the Association Board of Directors. The Association will then determine whether the threshold has been reached and communicate to the requestor whether their unit is eligible to be leased.

All owners must provide a copy of leases to the Association within seven (7) days of a unit being initially rented, and within seven (7) days of any renewals or subsequent leases. Along with any copy of a lease provided to the Association, the owner must provide current contact information for themselves and for each adult tenant.

All regulations pertaining to rentals are clearly stated in the Amended and Restated Declaration Countryhouse Service Group V, and must be followed. Permission will not be granted more than three months prior to lease start date.
